TESTIMONIALS
Marcelo
My name is Marcelo, immediately after the interview I had the impression that HBS was the company for me, because for the first time in 5 years of working in this sector I found a manager who, despite his commitments in the company, was willing to discuss and draw up a training plan adapted to my profile and needs.
Now, after only 6 months, I am halfway through this journey, supported by my department head who is contributing his experience gained over the years at HBS to make this possible.
I am curious to see what the future holds for me here, but at the same time aware that with a team like this I can only get better.
Nicole
I am Nicole, I am 21 years old and I have been working at HBS for about 2 years.
Right after my high school graduation exam, HBS wanted to give me the opportunity to get to know the world of work for the first time, allowing me to broaden my skills and grow professionally. I started with the digitisation of administrative documents, which allowed me to learn the first basics in administration, until I became an administrative assistant, with the opportunity to learn more and more knowledge, thanks to the training and support of my manager and my colleagues in administration.
Marcos
I am Marcos, I am 31 years old, I am Italian-Brazilian and I have been working with turning for 16 years.
I joined HBS as an employee in September 2019 and, although I worked with the same type of machine, I experienced a year of adaptation as the company was equipped with new technologies that I was not familiar with. For personal reasons, I had to spend a year in Brazil and, upon my return to HBS in December 2021, I requested training from the company in order to learn how to equip and program the multitasking lathes with robotic loading. I took advantage of all the in-house training opportunities offered, as well as learning machining techniques from professionals who have worked at HBS for more than 20 years.
The company incentive to develop and improve my work, combined with my experience, allowed my professional growth within the company, making me a shift manager. Today, with the management’s authorisation, I hold internal training courses, offering this opportunity to those who, like me, wish to grow with HBS.
Laura
My name is Laura and I joined HBS as an assembler at the age of 48. I had no previous experience in this field. Nothing was easy for me straight away, but thanks to the help of people with several years of experience and qualified staff, I can say that I return to my workbench every day with serenity, thanking those who still allow me time to improve.
Besar
My name is Besar, I started my journey at HBS in 2019, I was placed in the Rotary Distributors department with the role of Multitasking turning centre operator and toolmaker.
Thanks to the many opportunities offered by the company, in the following period I completed in-house training and became a CNC programmer specialising in Multitasking turning centres. In 2022, I moved to the position of shift foreman in the Rotary Distributors department. A year later, in 2023, after attending the necessary training courses offered and funded by the company, I took the opportunity to move to the Hydraulic Valves department in the role of Department Manager, increasing my knowledge.
I believe HBS is a company that can offer training and growth opportunities where interest, professionalism and skills are shown.
Mary
I am Mary, I work in the valves assembly department. My job has been a great discovery. For me it is like solving a puzzle, one is completely absorbed by the process and the end result is very satisfying. Being satisfied with your work and waking up every day happy doing it is really important.
