In 2023, we started an important new project as part of our ESG initiatives – the Piccole Mani (Little Hands) nursery within our company premises. It is run by the Bompieri Family Foundation and should help the employees and inhabitants of Monzambano, where our company is headquartered. The facility is suitable for children from 8 months to 3 years of age.
This project represents an important step forward in our commitment to promoting values of social and environmental responsibility, as well as providing a high quality service to our community.
The Piccole Mani nursery is conceived not only as a centre for the care and development of children, but also as a place where environmental sustainability and respect for business ethics are central. We want to create a welcoming and safe environment in which children can grow up happy and healthy.
Here are some key points of our project:
- Environmental Sustainability: We will implement sustainable practices such as recycling materials, using renewable energy, and adopting a low-impact approach to resource management.
- Environmental Education: We will introduce educational programmes to teach children the importance of sustainability and environmental conservation, encouraging them to become aware and responsible citizens.
- Healthy and Organic Food: We will offer nutritious meals prepared with organic and local ingredients, promoting a healthy and sustainable lifestyle from a young age.
- Community Involvement: We will actively collaborate with the children’s families and the local community to promote a culture of inclusion, participation and solidarity.
We are excited to launch this project and work together with our community to build a better future for generations to come.
